Tamba Ware’s uniqueness and cultural heritage, as well as its comprehensive approach to establishing the region’s livelihood as a sustainable tourism model

Visitors can immerse themselves in the tradition of Tamba pottery through traditional Noborigama kilns, pottery making demonstrations, pottery and apprenticeship experiences, and meals prepared using Tamba pottery.
Young potters serve as “Satobito guides” in the “Tohaku” tour, which allows visitors to experience the daily life and traditions of the kiln, and is linked to the revitalization of exchange within the production area and the development of human resources.

I am very happy that Tamba-yaki has been recognized worldwide.

It is very gratifying for Tamba-yaki to be known even overseas, and I cannot thank everyone who has helped us on a daily basis enough.
